Seemed like a good day for new ramps !
« on: June 01, 2010, 07:47:55 PM »
Hey all,

Bought some new ramps for my Funhouse from RTBB months ago.
Been too lazy and busy to put them on.

Anyway - today I had a crack at it.
Greg - these ramps are SENSATIONAL mate  #*#

Old Milky ones.........

STEPS RAMP

CENTRE RAMP

That old one doesnt look that bad hey ...............until U see this ......

And look at the beautiful new STEPS ramp - ( I have fitted some stuff in this shot )

And here come the installation shots - the money shots  :lol
Some of you may need to grab tissues before looking at these as you may cry or drool.....

The new CENTRE RAMP is so clear that you can hardly see it !
It IS there - look closely....

The RIGHT side of the Centre Ramp.....

An Overall finished shot......

And a nice lit version up the left side now ........

No - I didnt install ramp protectors , forgot all about them , had these ramps for ages and just felt in the mood to do this job today.
Again - Gregs ramps turn out to be super high quality products - I used them on my WH20 as well and I HIGHLY recommend them.

Now I have finished ALL my pinball agenda items -  time for a new pinball project maybe #@#

Looks brilliant, just out of interest have you ever tried to flame polish a ramp?

It's hard to believe that a flame polish could match this, the shots are sensationally clear,  but would be interested to hear or peoples experiences.

Funny you mention that - ummmmmm no , because i dont have the equipment or the strong heart to deal with attempting it, I reckon I would end up with melted plastic blobs with my impatience :lol
KTM450 , a good member here at AP does Flame Polish ramps.

I say funny you mention it because I am going to offer my old ramps CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP shortly, the STEPS ramp there is really nothing wrong with it apart from the aged milky appearance , so its perfect for Flame throwing , I mean polishing IF someone is interested......the other ramp will be a chuck in as it is fairly useless.

Looks great mate! I got a FH main from Greg ages ago - much thicker and better quality than the original. As my Steps ramp was good I didn't change it, but boy looking at yours I think I might just change it now!!

WOW! they look fantastic Wotto  *%*

I can also recommend Gregs ramps, I had to replace two ramps on my WH20, so much thicker and stronger than the originals.

The other WH20 ramps I needed were donated to me by a top bloke  &&
He even personally delivered them from NSW to Melbourne free of charge   :lol
Thanks Wotto really appreciate it  ^^^
