3 machines
« on: January 20, 2013, 10:27:11 AM »
I know that i have heard this question asked to one person on Youtube , but what if you yourself were stuck on a desert island and had to choose 3 pinnies and only 3 to have with you and play ( obviously there would have to be some sort of battery pack ) , what would they be and why ?
Come on and hit me with It !!!

Stern Xmen LE Wolverine - love everything about it - artwork, shot layout, modes, depth and most of the voices.

Data East Tommy - just such a complete package - great flow and great music.

Williams Diner - just love the theme, artwork and humour.

Always hard to pick just 3 but the following would keep me satisfied for a long time.

Top Hand - Tests your ball skills like no other. Plenty of drop targets to shoot.

Firepower - Cold, hard and brutal, making you come for more. Sweetest thumpers ever and the most satisfying spinner shot with sound to kick ass.

Black Hole - Best lower playfield, good theme which has aged well. Long sweeping shots with no clutter.
If you don't remember the 70s then you were on drugs.
If you remember playing pinball in the 70s you were having a good time.
If you don't remember anything,  then read about it here,

I *almost* had BH, but decided on Rudi for company! Otherwise we'd have had two of three the same!

Yes, but change to 20yo blonds as they cost less to service.

Big Bang Bar, then I would list it in the classified section for only $5000
(and the redhead from the backglass of Strikes and Spares)

I would soon be found

Harder to pick than a broken nose.

1 - Paragon - My all time favorite. It would bring back memories of how life was before I got stuck on the island.

2 - Haunted House - Fantastic title. Another widebody.

3 - Cirqus Voltaire - Never get bored paying this game.

World Cup Soccer - the soccer ball can be my "Wilson volleyball" companion. FIFA!

Popeye Saves the Earth - the upper playfield makes a great makeshift outdoor toilet seat.

Gilligans Island - Forget about the SS Minnow, pull the playfield out, turn the cabinet into a boat and sail off into the sunset.

mine would be a gamble, not ones I own but the following:

AFM - played about 10 times and would love to learn everything about it - good fun player

Kingpin (Capcom) - heard it is fun, like the idea of the theme and no chance of ever owning one

Hot Wheels (Mattel) - my design   %.%   and a computer to tweak the rules / sounds - that would keep me busy

That's a bit harsh!!

Then again, gives you a spare boardset for the other games - double the usefulness!
