Title: Cocktail arcade glass top
Post by: stan on September 25, 2014, 03:04:28 PM
G'day folks

Just wondering if anyone knows where to buy toughened glass for the top of an arcade machine? I plan on making one and not sure whether I should just contact a glazier or if you can order them ready made from somewhere.

Any glass supplier would be able to do this for you.. not places like Obrien.
A lot of people in Brisbane use Loganglass who custom cut and temper for you... you should be able to find one near Mackay

Toughened glass is simply float glass that gets heat treated. So you take a template of the size and shape glass you need to a glazier to cut it then the glass is put through an oven to toughen it. So you need a business that will cut the glass and one that will toughen it or better still a business that does both. Look for local business  that deal in glass. Oh and price will vary a lot so do your research.
