And today i finally got to the stage where i can say that i have FINISHED repainting the playfield!!!!  #*# #*# #*# #*#

One last coat of CC to go on for a light rub back and then a FINAL coat of the KBS Diamond coat... this is harder than any 2 pac and cannot be damaged by any chemical or solvent... once its on... its on for good.

Some close up detail pics... oh boy this was a lot of work

Please dont let it rain over the weekend... the heavens allowing i can start to repopulate the PF next week with all the shiny goodies i have for it!!

really wonderful work Gav. I think you will grow to love Bank A Ball. Your playfield will look like a million dollars with the stuff on it and it's a great game to play. Well done, mate.

Finally got the KBS Diamond coat down today.... its been absolutely pissing down all week and therefore too humid to do this... but sun comes out and i pounce!
This stuff is very user friendly, will not react with any other paint... sprays real nice and is self levelling... and oh boy it looks like a million bucks!

Touch dry in 1 hr, but fully cured to super hard coating in 7 days

Finally got to start the playfield assembly... oh its all so BLING BLING!!!!

I couldnt hold myself back and had to restore the apron too.. paint was missing along all the edges and rust had set in... i enjoyed doing this, hit the exact colour within minutes and some fine detail airbrushing gave great results...

All targets i cut stencils for and resprayed the bullseye.. then a clear coat to protect it... im one of these missing for some reason  !@#

NOS metal flippers.. special thanks to Marco   ^^^ ^^^ for these who sent them through ages back... finally got to put them on and i love em!

Nice overall view... all new plastics i made some 3 years back or so...

But im in trouble... heres under the apron... what the hell goes here and more importantly.. where the hell is it???? This is a Push up remember so no under apron solenoids to kick the ball

I originally had all new bumpers for this game, but i must have used the rod & rings on another machine as they have gone... so cant put my nice new bumpers on till after Easter when i can order from Greg @ RTBB.

Once again, i couldnt help myself and had to turn her on.. she reset OK and went into game mode but i have 2 locked on coils... the end is within sight now, i just need to make all new balls and armatures for the back box animation.
I have a cunning plan for this and of course will post my progress
