Title: Solar Ride-r

Hi all,

Just picked up the Solar Ride. Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Donovan and have just had my solar ride (bought through ebay) delivered to my door (well, er garage) by Backloads (sydney based removalist) with no problems at all. Just wanted to plug them in here for the great job they did.

Anyway, this is me, and if there is anyone who can give me any tips/hints on repairing and restoring the old pinny, please let me know.

And if anyone's interested, there's a long story about why I bought this particular machine. My first, but probably not my last...

Solar Ride is a great game, good choice for a first pinball.
Sys1 games are easy to repair, good for a first timer.

Welcome to Aussie Pinball Donovan. Best place in the country to appreciate Gottlieb games for sure, and lots of expertise around. Love to hear the story - the stories really are a common theme for collectors, and make great reading.
