hey guys been a long time but back on the silverball
« on: December 10, 2012, 01:24:36 AM »
Been a long time but after cruising facebook I saw a garage sale only 2 minutes down the road so flew in the car and off

History is been in the family a long time and owner was attached and has many memories but was time to clutter the shed (there was tonnes and tonnes of stuff lol)

Boards need work as it  was sent to a tech years ago and they either gave up or didn't do much (came back with connectors off)

Playfield has some insert wear as expected for age as well as some planning but still nice and bright. Backglass is also good

Machine is complete just need to check it all and plug it in and go from there hopefully

Photo was taken at the garage sale in my excitement

Looks like it could be a great score if the price is right!

Welcome to Aussie Pinball!!

Might be a candidate for a pascal all in one board, really good game to play.

Cheers guys ended up paying 850 as they had a offer of 750 and a guy comming to look so thought that price I can take a punt and being local saves about 100 in fuel and at least half a day to do a Perth trip and back

I'm loading up today after work and Ill bring it home and inspect closer. I am thinking a new Pascal all in 1 after christmas. also tried to factor that into the offer price

Pins in the wild local are few and far between which is weird going that back in the day here was home to a massive wa operator

Cheers it's home so Ive had a quick moment to look

Pf isn't as bad as what I thought just lots of ball swirl and mylar is on the centre. Bg isnt bad and holding up for age
Inserts have a few that need repeating and wear is confined to them and with my limited skills still I reckon I can touch it up .Boards are blerk so after Christmas ill look into a replacements. So over the break il start cleaning and go from there
Underneath is complete just needs a good vacuum and check

Gunna take a while but Mrs happy to keep me off the tv and tinker
