The Day Lectronamo Came To My House
« on: June 17, 2010, 12:24:35 PM »
Two weeks ago Mr Pinbologist brought Lectronamo to my place for storage. As his collection grows and grows, storage space has become a good problem, as some of you guys with large collections would already know. As you can see from the pic's, he has given it the full restoration treatment and it looks and plays perfect. I love this machine as it reminds me of playing it with my school mates in Parramatta.

All his games are set the way they were in pubs and arcades, and if im good enough, I can get free games. It is great to hear the CRACK again.   Next trip down, he said he could put all of my games setup the same way, instead of getting extra ball all the time, which im really looking forward to.

                                                                                                              Thanks Mr Pinbologist.  :lol

A cool Stern - Very underrated. Looks like it has had the full treatment and it must be a pleasure to play.

Yup - all my games are set up the same way they were back in the arcades.  That is a nice looking Lectro, but not one of Sterns better efforts IMO.

cheers

Yepp, it has absolutely had the full treatment... full cab respray, PF restore, and original stuffed BG replaced with a better one. speaking of the PF it was an absolute mess when i got it, had a HUGE wear spot just above the flippers, in the yellow paint, which i had to totally repaint. This resto was done about four or five yrs ago. i'll find some pics of how it looked when i got it and post them. I may even do a resto thread as i have heaps of pics of this one  *%*

Well it wasnt one of my wishlist titles.. i'd never even seen one before when i bought this one.. It was one i just came across at the the time for the right price so i grabbed it. Lectronamo can be a very unforgiving game to play at times, but can also be a lot of fun too on a good day. I actually like it very much..

Howzat has already beaten my high score on it... smart arse!!  :lol :lol

Thanks guys for your comments about this game of mine. Since i was running outta space at home, Howzat kindly offered to store some of my games for me, so i took him up on his offer, letting him have Lectronamo for a while since it was an old favourite from his past (he also has my Hot Hand at his house as well, and the way im going lately he may well end up with 1 or 2 more!)

I hope Howzat doesnt mind, but i thought id add a couple of pics to his post, showing how the PF looked when i purchased the game.. oh boy.. the things people do to these machines ^&^

and an "after" pic as well

i'll do a full resto thread soon as i get the time to  *%*
