Wondering what everyone uses to keep chrome looking good, are the chrome polishes worth buying or is Mr Sheen ok?
-
Good question interested on what others recommend
-
Nothing wrong with Mr Sheen on chrome - its a dissolved silicon that leaves a barrier against moisture... smells of Chamomile too.
Sounds like more of a tip than a concern to me

Autosol is the product I use for all metals.
I haven't used it, but I imagine Mother's chrome polish might work as well.

This stuff is quite good, I use it on my Vulcan Cruiser and it has a lot of chrome..

Btw and I have tried this. To bring up badly tarnished chrome, use tin foil folded into a small pad and dip it in water, the rub. Continue to dip in water when it dries and rub. There is some kind of chemical reaction that happens. Wipe clean and presto.
Wear rubber gloves as black gunk is produced. I think there may be youtube stuff on this.
