maverick blackjack problem

My maverick has a random issue where at certain stages you hit one of the drop targets on the left and it activates blackjack mode mid play thus disabling flippers and losing the ball. Any ideas how to fix this?

Could be a problem on the switch matrix.

I notice that the VUK (which I think is the switch that normally activates blackjack), shares the same switch column as the left hand drop targets.

Run switch test from the diagnostics menu to see if any single switch registers multiple switch closures.
