The first shipment of the year are mostly DMDs. It arrived this morning and was unpacked in less than an hour by the friendly crew that have done most of my recent containers.
They arrived earlier than I did, so all I did was open the roller door and they set up the ramp straight into the factory floor ;

Open the doors, and nothing has moved. Not a full container this time around - I'm not a huge fan of placing machines on top of Fishtales and Indys !

As I mentioned earlier - Late model games in this shipment.

The last game - an AFM !

Now that the container is empty, the factory floor is a disaster !

Most of the older stuff is going upstairs, and then the racks are installed against the far wall.
I'll list the titles, and post more pictures over the next day or two. There are multiple Indiana Jones, Twilights, Fishtales, Playboys, No Fears and others like Sopranos, Star Wars, TFTC..
I'm already stuffed !

I'm really tired, but very happy - already planning the restoration of some of these games. If anyone wants to pop by for a look, you are most welcome ! I did take some pics, but they are too dark, so I'll take more tomorrow.
Thanks for the kind words ^^^

What a beautiful sight. Great to see more pins in Australia and they couldn't be in better hands. Hopefully some of them will end up on location. I think you need some employees given the scale!

Exactly my thoughts last night. Some would be great on location. Maybe an Indy and a TZ.
-
Those pics are awesome, looks like they will keep you busy for quite some time!
-
Well done Nino ^^^ your going to need a shit load of racks to store all of those pins.
-
Wow that looks awesome!
You are going to have alot of fun with those, looking forward to the first APR games/bbq/meet/sale night.
-
Loved the pics. The packaging on those dmd's remind me of the cocaine bags with tape....Nino, sure you're not running a drug cartel in Thomastown? lol
Good luck with it all.

That's the next part of the plan - but I need the racks installed so I can set up games to play. The emphasis will be more geared up as a regular meet / BBQ. I'm a useless salesman, and prefer to chat than sell *%*

Not that I know of ! I did have a PBR order that went missing for 3 months and then suddenly turned up with a hole in the top and coffee beans shoved in the package. There was nothing unusual at the time, other than a bit of a laugh with the wife. As I kept telling the story to different people, a friend of mine told me that sometimes drugs are sent in packages with coffee beans to fool the sniffer dogs !

At night I've been unpacking the recent arrivals and moving them to the showroom area to make room for the Rack installation. Each game is checked and then a plan written up depending on the condition and the customer requests. They will then be placed in the rack (once it is installed), and then I'll move on to the other machines. I've unpacked half, and mainly the Bally / Williams titles. None of these are ready. The High End Restorations are already earmarked - Indy's, TZ's and the AFM at this stage. A couple of later Sterns are also unpacked. Sopranos will be restored with some extras.
The "odd machine out" is my personal Black Hole. This is being setup so I can test the SYS boards. We have had many project games with boards that needed work, so I use this game to test the boards.

Indiana Jones - One with a title of the original colour, the other two will be redecalled.
Twilight Zones - At this stage two will be "Nearly in Box" restorations with some mods.
AFM will be a "Nearly In Box" restoration. No Fear is such an underrated title !
A couple of Sterns - I still have a few more to unpack, but I was keen to see what the sopranos was like
(http://australianpinballrestorations.com.au/pictures/misc/Showroom%20007.JPG)
As time permits, I will unpack the rest of the games. I thought it was cool to line up the Bally / Williams before they are "shelved". I hope to have one or two completed before the end of the year "in the showroom". There's a few that need to be done before starting these !
-
Had a sneak peek at some of these this arvo. #@#
Nice.... :D
-
Those Twilight Zones sure look great lined up together. This title use to be in my local arcade back when it was new but I never really got into it the way I did with other pins out at the same time. Unfortunately I haven't really had the opportunity to play many games on one in recent years either because I think it looks like a fantastic game and I'd really like to like it.
-
It is brilliant, great fun, lots to do and fantastic art and sound.
