As the dollar is rising nicely above 80c again, I am thinking it will be time to order a new Gorgar backglass from Mayfair. Just before I do, I am checking if anyone has one for sale in Australia or NZ that is in good to excellent condition. If so please let me know with some photos.

Cheers

Whats a new one worth JD?   Mine is in good condition but a brand new one would look sweet if the price was right

Best of luck having it shipped to Australia - it will cost more than the glass !

Organize the glass to be sent to IPB and shipped in one of the 500 containers PSP is bringing in.

The price is $250 USD plus freight plus crome strip etc. All up to Mark C's container is $300 USD / .8 = $375.
This is brand new and origional not repro. Also the later version that does not flake as much... so I am told...

What can you do?

Buy it.

A reproduction backglass makes a game come to life. I buy reproduction everytime possible and don't regret it at all.

Also if the Gorgar glass is no longer reproduced you will be in for a long wait until somebody does it again and you will then kick yourself for not buying it

I ordered mine this morning (our time).
Really looking forward to getting it home.

If it's near as good as the other one I saw on AP I will be wrapped.

Hey DDToys if you are going to do it now is the time at .8431 AUD/USD !

It's pretty serious money for a piece of glass  *%*

Take my word once it arrives and you put it in your game you will be stoked with every cent you have just spent  ^^^ ^^^ ^^^

Nothing makes a game come alive with a new/reproduction backglass....I've just ordered my 6th and if I coul buy new/reproduction/N.O.S. for the rest I would

I agree Tony . I have just bought a NOS backglass for my Williams Lucky 7 pin that Mark C so kindly shipped over for me in container #2 ...

 #*# #*# #*#  BIG thanks to Mark for doing this !!  #*# #*# #*#

The one in it has been touched up a bit and doesn't look toooo bad but a NOS one is going to make it look awesome.

A new glass also would have to lift the re-sale value of any older pins too ..

When you get that new/reproduction/N.O.S. backglass and you are handling it for the first time while it's being installed in your game is a real test on the heart.....you hear the horror stories  @.@

This is like waiting for the second comming of ...

Talk about extreme patience. I ordered in August 2009.

Marc C diddnt have a container due at the needed time so unfortunately no go through our traditional channels.

Next option was Wayne G and he has sorted for me which I appreciated.

Lot of following up but anyway... perhaps I was overly excited!

My Gorgar backglass was sent from Mr pinball yesterday on route to the Hunter Valley.

Wayne said he had a quick look and all appeared good. ie no broken glass in the corner of the package.
I think tommorow will be the day??

So bloody excited!

let's see what we get???

Jyebow, must be time for an even greater Gorgar experience shortly!

J.D.

I have advanced the home brew capex too! More dumb questions in line!!!
