Hi guys, I just bought my first Electro Mechaical pinball - a Williams little indian (wasn't working). Got it starting now, but ball number doesn't move on from one, so Im starting to go through the whole machine and service (pretty excited about this - being the first mechanical computer I have seen)javascript:void(0);.

Anyway - have been reading about rebuilds from http://www.pinrepair.com/em/index1.htm#lub and the guy mentions Teflon Gel Lube to lubricate the Stepper Units including the electrical contacts to stop corrosion. I have an electronics background and realise I need to be careful with lub on contacts, but I can't seem to find a Teflon Gel Lube in Aust (let alone Adelaide). So Im wondering if anybody can recommend a lubricant and where to buy (i've got teflon chain oil for the bike, but wasn't sure if there are any other impurities in it making it a no go.

Thanks in advance
John.

P.S. I've also got a Gottlieb Countdown (had it 20 years), and a Stern Meteor.

Hi John,
I got Teflon grease and oil through Wes Components in Sydney,
Though I know a few guys here are happy with standard 3 in 1 oil.
Cheers
Dave

I've only used 3 in 1 machine oil to rebuild steppers etc. Keeps the parts lubricated for years.

Thanks Studley - that's way cheaper than the SuerLube I've got coming in, wish I'd been a bit more patient. Nothing like thinking outside the square. Reckon I'll go buy a tube just because its so cheap & readily available (in ADL).
