Hey all
Here are some pics of Dodgem City in George St Sydney - THE place we used to frequent ALL THE TIME as kids.
It was opposite Hoyts in 'The Cinema Strip' - near the famous Crystal Palace.
I was contacted by a guy who has a Facebook group named Sydney Cinema Flashback 70's/80's and he said I should look at the shots.
There are some EXCELLENT old pics if you look at thier photos ( over 400 )
Anyway - here is Dogem City from a time when pinball / arcade RULED #*#

ALL I need now is my holy grail of photo's - the pinball section located inside the George St Hoyts complex in the late 70's *)*

Cops taking $50 each to not book the bugger

It's a great feeling when you find an old location you'd forgotten - good one Wotto!

Its a 1983 model 6 cylinder XE. The 351 version in red-X Pak or Fairmont Ghia looked excellent.
Also, if u do a google search and look at some of the 1983 Dick Johnson Bathurst videos of his 1983 model XE and how hard that went down Conrod straight at 279 kilometres per hour and the beautiful noise that car made, u would think thisas agreat car. ^^^
Good photos.

Nice work on tracking this one down!
It is also interesting how half the city is always a building site! Happening back then, still happening now.

Did you know anything about the "Indoor BMX track" attraction???? (being my other collectable hobby)...
