Asteroid Annie
« on: November 08, 2010, 10:41:05 PM »
Anyone ever seen one of these in Aus.

http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?gid=98

I just bought a Pascal board for my Buck Rogers and saw the name listed in the book several times, so I decided to look it up.
Only 211 units made.
Bit unusual a single player SS.
Not a bad looking machine, I had never heard of it before.

I had the pleasure of playing Nick's (Pinnies4me) a few weeks back and I totally enjoyed it.

Strange that it was a single player, but Gottlieb had surplus SYS1 boards and decided to do a short and rather unique run of this machine  &&

Actually I did notice that, but strangely they more normal size.
Usually pinball machines have women with great big boobs.

I had one in poor condition in Canada. It was too much to fix up, so I  got a few parts, & then off to the dump.

A really fun game, and great strategy in taking down the targets to complete a full deck. The shots are all difficult, it really does have a terrific lay out and almost rates along side Joker Poker as (IMO) the best of the system 1 games.

Great to hear about your shed progress cam when it's done I'll have tonmake the trip up to check it out.    Don't worry about the rust it's just a chance for you son to earn some cash give him a wire wheel on a grinder and stuff all an hour and the rust will be gone in no time lol
