AMD still have them advertised, so I guess they are still for sale. !@#

Play both, but I reckon the Premium is the better machine and certainly worth the extra $$

Its not an easy call.  Personally, saving $2400 by buying the AC/DC Pro over a Premium gave me a $2400 head start towards looking at a new X-Men title etc as well to add to the collection. So saving $$ here will be of benefit to some new machine collectors, but not to others. I felt getting the best of both worlds was better for me. A PRO version of the AC/DC or X-Men titles will get u a ripper of a game. U dont have to buy a LE/Premium to get great gameplay and features.

It would be interesting to see what numbers of each model have been sold in Australia (ratio of Pro versus Premium versus LE) ?  !@#

Not interested in the Premium/LE due to cost + there's a lot talk about not liking the lower playfield.
Brett, you might need to ring up Bruce and find out those numbers - if AMD are willing to disclose.

I was not keen on the lower play field but my wife loves it. I have been visiting hell more recently and have found it more challenging as you need to control the ball better and use the tips of the flippers for clean loop shots. Time limit makes better play critical. I think the lower playfield has lots of potential. Can you imagine with future code change having to play both playfields at the same time with the cannon loading up during multi all? I heard some guy used his chin to fire the canon as he had balls on both flippers! Steve is now taunting with "welcome to hell", "hell in a box" and "back for some more torture" so I am sure there is some awesome code in the works.

If you remember playing pinball in the 70s you were having a good time.

I've never played a pro so I'd better pull my finger out and play one but where's one sited in Melbourne? Also when the canon fires the ball and it rebounds off the targets does everyone one else end up with an air ball bouncing back into the PF? Will that create bumps in the PF down the track in the clear coat? Also who's had a shot at the bell from the canon for super jackpot? And I love how you can hold the right flipper in when launching ball for super skill shot!

Take your pick between NSW, VIC and WA Stern distributors/agents. All three are sitting on stock of both Pro and Premium (some in multiples).
