gameworks up here just sold 4 or 5 Avatars and a few blokes who bought them were very happy. another 4 or so people bought ironmans and were equally as happy. it has had a knock on effect.    its not the "other" one i have decided on.... #@#  beautiful looking machines both Avatar and Ironman. both look friggin nice.

anyone got any AC/DC photos of the 2 x LE models yet ?

Not a fan of this pin or the film it came from.
I tried to like the pinball and have played it many times ...... I just couldn't get into it... (((
Maybe you get a free trip to Pandora instead of a free shaker motor and leg protectors?

it doesnt matter if it goes off track here n there.  its all about comparing other new sterns to the AC/DC pin etc.  best to have a thread with a few snakes n ladders, than no thread at all.

also, i have had 3 members tell me they have also ordered AC/DC Pro models and are keeping quiet about it as they want to surprise their otherpinball friends with a surprise New in box opening party, which is always fun. the funny thing is, that the 3 blokes are all mates, so they will be surprising each other with new in box openings too which will be fun as well.

alot of people are also selling machines to fund their new AC/DC purchases, which they won't announce til they definately have money in hand to make the new stern purchase. hopefully, we will have half a dozen AP members all taking photos/videos of their AC/DC machines all being opened n played for the first time. lots of fun ahead for all members to enjoy. thats what its about.  ^^^

I have never seen this much hype over a pinball machine before, it's pretty mental...this is the same type of hype in relevance of course before star wars ep1 was released in cinemas( a LOT more fans than this were going Nuts!...unfortunatley the film sucked big time other than the last 20 mins!) ...what a bummer that turned out to be.
Hype is very easily generated!

^^^      I am going to take a video of the unboxing ceremony for my AC/DC. I was going to ask a few of my local AP mates around and get them to be a part of it, have a few alcoholic beverages, as well as draw a name from the hat, and let one of the other guys have the first game and switch machine on etc.

that sounds like a bit of fun to share around anyway. something different.  ^^^

I sold my INDIANNA JONES WIDEBODY today to pay for the AC/DC.  !!! !!! !!!  Because the economy is a bit Euro (or might be during the year) I decided to fund the new STERN with the sale of the Indy. A big thankyou to AP member Mickthepin for being a great buyer. ...and , this is the first pinball machine I have EVER sold ! Blasfamy.lol

Although I could have sold other titles to buy the AC/DC, Mick asked me if I knew anyone who was selling a Indy, and only a Indy , so it worked out well for both parties, a spur of the moment, quick sale for me. Since the private hospital just got apx 7 g's large outta me, I thought it wouldnt hurt selling a few to fund a few.

I might sell my BK2000 ! (more blasfamy)  !!! !!! !!! and maybe some others I have in great condition for another NIB STERN title.  !@#  !!! !!! Lots of great STERN titles to choose from. AVATAR LE or  TRON LE, or a Ironman. OR a PREMIUM AC?DC to go with a PRO AC/DC ?

Would anyone on here ever think about both AC/DC models if money wasnt a hassle (30 million lotto on soon Lads, we all might win a dollar yet). I dont pray, ever, unless its at the newsagency whilst checking the Lotto tickets.  ^^^  %.% %.% %.% %.%

(to throw in a curve ball, what abvout going to the Casino and playing red/black on the roulette and doubling up and making 7 grand in one minute (a new Stern) or losing 7 grand in one minute. ?... hmmm, i need some elephant balls and half a bottle of Jim Beam. thinking..thinking...thinking.. %.% %.%)

Spoke to a few people today who said they have ordered 2 x the LE models of AC/DC and reckon they are going to keep 1 x machine on ice, never opened, and wait 6 or 12 months and try n sell it for a nice FAT profit.

anyone here thinking of buying one to play (LE) and keeping one in box to make a profit on never opened resale.  A few people have done it with Spiderman Blacks and have made some serious coin !

Pete, I am die-ing to see the artwork on both the 2 x LE models. (hope its great and not something weird like a Maverick (lol.  @.@ %.% %.%). I think the Back in Black will be a stunner.

Has anyone asked to be on the LE Cancel List" incase someone pulls out so u can buy one, or will the dealers just sit on these and sell later for a fifty percent profit.  &&

I too have heard that story of making some coin on the 2nd LE why not if your cashed up then well done-I just can't wait to get my Back in Black home should I buy some leg protectors? some cloth to put over the leg bolt so the socket doesn't wreck the bolt? ask anyone helping to wear gloves? am I over reacting?
