i decided to keep the flash

since aquired another with repro backglass.but it dosent fit and line up.?do i change the backbox,route it out,move the displays,make a new headbox?.any experience with this problem would be appreciated,damien ^&^ ^&^ ^&^

I gather this is the CPR repro backglass ? Or was it purchasd from Mayfair (Alan Meyer repro perhaps?)

From memory, the CPR backglass is slightly longer, so it does not fit in SOME Flash headboxes.

You have two Flash machines ? Can you compare the size of the backglass. Maybe swap the headboxes so the game you wish to retain has the repro ?

can a glass cutter trim it or is it not possible

maybe router the box slightly deeper to make it suit  !@#

I had the same problem and had to remove that little section on the bottom part of the headbox that the BG slots into. I then chiselled it out to a depth of about 5mm

If I had routed out the top part the windows would not have matched up to the displays.

One display did not match up perfectly, so I moved it slightly ( drilled new holes ).

I dont really like doing a dodgey like that but sometimes you have to in order to allow for manufacturing flaws!
