FOR SALE: Coke Fridge 1958
« on: January 26, 2009, 11:12:47 AM »
Looking to buy a 1960s Pepsi or Coke fridge as per the attachments. Doesn't need to work! Doesn't even need a motor!

Mate - the Pepsi ones suck compared to the coke ones. Coca Cola have always had better design than Pepsi.

What about the slim retro looking ones that the shops have in them now? - I love these and apparently, when they are taken out of service Coca Cola come along, take em away and dump them so they dont end up on the collectible market - friggin wierd huh??

But i do know a shop just south of me that has these for sale

Thanks for that Angelo,

That one is only 1 hour South but she looks pretty rough, have been watching it and had been in contact with the guy selling. It is missing some real tough parts to replace.

Still muchly appreciated the tip!  ^^^

Gav,

Could you please chase this up (the shop just South to you).

Can you find out what they have for sale, their prices and if they have a web site.

Cheers

Damn,  just got rid of mine recently. It was all original and working 1958 Aussie made cabinet.  I've got a bit of other old coke stuff if interested.

Yeah it was a nice fridge but it was taking up valuable pinball space...  and also my wife hated the look of the coke boys (sprite boy) face on the side of the cabinet.
