Yet another one for the resto que
« on: June 04, 2010, 10:19:18 PM »
Hi guys i've been at it again.. bought another tender centre pin today! this time its a Stern Hot Hand, yet another wishlist game and possibly the very same game from the Pinball parlor in Port macquarie. And yet again Ian (howzat) put me onto this one which was in one of the Tender Centres there. Ian called me about this one earlier in the week, the reserve was $450 which i paid to get the machine (plus their commision). a few pics of the game after ian and i picked it up.

More pics.. backglass is pretty faded, and some paint missing around one of the score displays

Under the playfield... Had to cut wires from the power supply which were hard wired after the connectors had fried at some stage. Also i had to drill the backbox lock out to remove the glass (no key!!)

anyway, for now the game is in storage at Ian's house until i can find room for it at my place  ^&^ ^&^

Great pickup! Ever since I played one of these at a meet, it has been on my wish list, as I really enjoyed the game play and the rotating flipper at the top.

Geez - Love those mods !

An underrated early Stern. Usually the lower section of the backglass has flaked. Playfield needs some work, but a good base machine to restore.

I'd like to see the restore job on this too. Played Rod's recently it's a great game I'd own one if I had room.

OH NO more room for you to make to fit her in.  %.% Looks like a fun game to play Mitch and yes time now required to bring her up to your standard.
