YA COLLECTION IN 5 YEARS ???
« on: October 22, 2010, 09:30:22 PM »
Where do u see your collection in 5 years ?
Do u see more many more machines ? Less machines ?  The same machines ? Half of the collection moved on and a big influx of new titles ?

or no machines because you have moved on to something different.  !@#  or just 1 or 2 machines left to keep a few memories ?

Is your collection today where you thought it would be a couple of years ago ? Better or Worse ? Food for thought !  !@# !@#

I will keep stockpiling a continual supply of machines to feed my addiction  :D

In the future, I will be moving to a place with a HUGE barn or shed "just" for my machines. The collection has grown "out of control", and now I basically have most of the games I could even want. I'd say at least 50 machines will always be in the collection at any given time.

But I'll buy machines as long as I can afford and enjoy. I'd say it is exactly where I thought it would be. But there will be more to come.. .. ..  <.>

My collection is far better now than it was a few years ago.    But who knows what might happen in the future the few things I do know is I'll never sell my jungle princess but the rest are for sale for a Daniels going to retire early price.    And I've always said if I have to sell my collection to payboff the house or retire early then there gone.   Same as the monaro if it's gunna pay the house off it's sold

Ive only been into pinballs for about 6 months but so far have 4 machines. I'd really like to keep colleting more but space is the problem. Ive got a 40 x 60 foot shed but one side is taken with a pair of cars that wont be sold, the other is full of various motorbikes that are getting less use all the time (Im gettin old) and I keep thinking about flogging off most of the bikes and building a "shed within a shed" which could be slowly filled up with machines....I reckon I'd have more fun with a shed full of machines and they would cost much less.

First up, I will have a new house so I can have more than 5 games up and running

I will have some more machines, but not many
I have figured that space is finite, I can have too many games
I will get games that will be great additions to the collection, rather than 'ohhh, that would be cool'

Dunno.

I'd like to get MM, BSD and Radical back, and maybe pick up a CC.

There aren't a lot of other titles I find myself in desire of.

But, I don't see myself having the *time* to work on the projects I already have lined up, so buying more wouldn't make a lot of sense.

5 years ago, I didn't see myself working for this company and making what I'm making now. I didn't see my best buddy who was also a collector dying young and having to sell his collection for his wife.

5 years can bring big changes. It's difficult to speculate.

I would like to own a couple more machines, can probably fit 5 into the shed and still fit everything else.

Would love an RFM and maybe a Striker Extreme to round out the collection.

within 5 yrs i plan to have the stone barn converted to house pins,a bar and a wood fire pizza oven.the barn is accesable from my lounge through the celler/store room and the workshop.it is 15m x 7m.i think i could get about 40 pins in there.

My goal is to cut the herd down to 5 pins (I currently have 8) as I only have room to have 5 setup.
Firepower and Lady Luck will still be here and I really hope to have a Creature by then.
Dunno what the other 2 will be , but no doubt at least 1 will be a project game.
I need more room ! and more $$$

it seems space is the re-occurring issue for everyone.

i have apx 30 machines and my place is about 2 machines from being maxed out, however, i will just find a bigger place, that is the only answer.

when u are addicted, and u have visions of a games room with 60 machines in it, filled with 20 or 30 members all drinking beer and hard liquor, all playing pins and
having a great time, its just too hard to say NO to more machines. so a bigger place it will definately be.

IF I HAVE TO STOCKPILE PINBALL MACHINES LIKE THE USA and RUSSIA STOCKPILE NUCLEAR WARHEADS,THAN SO BE IT !  ^^^ ^^^ ^^^ ^^^ ^^^ ^^^
