Title: Pop bumper parts
Post by: Crashramp on January 25, 2014, 01:26:36 PM
Hi guys, does anyone know where I can find parts for pop bumpers for a 1984 Bally Midway Kings of Steel. I haven't been able to track down a parts manual for this machine though I imagine theses pops were used on numerous games of this era. Hopefully someone knows from the pics below.

I should clarify, it's not the caps I'm after but the housing and associated parts.
Thanks.

I know that Centaur 2 uses this type.
Brilliant design, 5 screws and the whole mech comes away from the playfield.

Wayne has the pop bumper bodies. There are two colors - white and cream.

The lamp socket parts are super rare, but I was able to buy some from PBR.

Thanks Nino, is there an alternative lamp socket for these pops or is it a matter of finding the correct ones?
Looking at the sockets on each one of mine they all seem to be in good shape though some of the similar lamp sockets throughout the rest of the game aren't in such good shape.
