Thanks Mitch, aside from my incorrect mod...they seem to match.
Thanks again.

Any chance of a photo or two of how your coin door is wired up?

No worries, glad to be of assistance.

Sure i can post a pic of my coin door no problem  ^^^ though my coin door has only one coin mech switch, and the G.I lamp sockets missing (the wires for other switch and G.I are taped up) which is how the door was when i bought the game, and i haven't added the extra bits as yet.

What do you need to see? maybe post a pic of your coin door showing your areas of concern and then i can see if i can help out with any more pics.

Well thanks to you guys i finally got the machine wired up correctly and fired up without issue (other than no sound).
A big thanks to all who helped educate an idiot, in particular Studley and ddstoys.

Does anyone know where i can get replacement sb-300 ribbon cables?

Thanks all.

Always nice to report back what the problem turned out to be %$%

Sound cables here:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Orignal-Stern-Pinball-Sound-Cable-SB-100-300-DUAL-GOLD-PIN-/300796678133?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4608e10ff5

Keep in mind that if the existing cable tests OK (each wire is continuous), it is not likely to be the problem.

cheers
Ian

The issue was the extra wire i added In. Switch numbers corresponded to the manual once i removed it.

As for the credits and chutes, they had been wired completely incorrectly and c couple of the wires had been swapped at the connector, so I just rewired according to switch matrix diagram.
