Wpc flipper opto problem

Hi guys.

    Cftbl has developed a fault it blows the 12 fuse whenever both the flipper optos are plugged in.   It's doing my head in lol

 I've swapped fliptronic boards opto boards and replaced the rectifier and cap for the 12v section?   Only other thing I can think of is a short in the look any other suggestions?

I take its the fuse on the driver board, NOT the fliptronics board which is blowing?

You've swapped out the Fliptronics PCB with a known good one?

Given the machine was shopped by you and working, we can safely assume the flipper coils have been wired correctly 

Maybe check the diodes on flippers and just for shits n giggles check the ribbon cables are OK.

LMFAO. Not sure what blew the original fuse but after half a days rooting around and a dozen blown fuses I ran out so I grabbed one from a spare driver board and presto the problem was fixed.   Cheap bloody fuses off eBay never again I mainly bought them for the neat container they came in but that was shit aswell lol.

No dramas Daniel!  Easy fix for you on the Driver board...I've been down the same path with fuses hence why I only stick to the BUSS's brand from my local parts supplier.

It's funny how you can overlook something so simple.   I purely bought these fuses off eBay for the plastic case which the regular fuses didn't fit anyway lol.
