Hi All,
I have just purchased my first Pinball and its the one that my Wife & I have always wanted.
It's a definite fixer upper and I am sneakily restoring it for my wife's Bday at the end of December.
there is a bit of work to do however with a my handy hands and background in electronics I'm fairly confident.
My questions to you kind and knowledgeable folk are the following.
* are there any others in Melbourne area that own this beautiful lady that would be willing to have a chat?
* does anyone have any parts for this lady that they are looking to sell? needing ramps, solenoids, rubbers (looking on ebay also)
* any other kind folks wish to depart some wisdom to a first timer I am a willing and keen listener :)
NB: I Live in the Melbourne area and have worked in mechanical manufacturing and electronics and have a knack for restoration/building stuff and am willing to help anyone out with odd jobs/help in exchange for wisdom.

Welcome to AP
Put some pics up of the machine and ask questions as you go along, everyone here will be happy to help you with any info you need.
I am assuming you bought the one on ebay recently, so it should be a good base for a restoration

congrats, was that the one on ebay last night, was tempted....

Welcome to AP plenty if help here if needed
I think I have some new slingshot plastics tucked away ill see what I can find

Great game I looked forward to watching the resto :)

Great game,
I'd never ever part with mine, ramps were available early this year 100 sets made for the worldwide market, they sold out quick. ^.^
If the rumors on pinside are correct CPR are doing playfields in the near future. See APR Nino for a pf plastic set.
Best of luck with the resto.

I'm pretty sure I spoke to you yesterday ^^^

Hi All,
Sorry for the late reply, I didn't get any email alerts and thought no one cared :( (user error)
the restoration went really well and she looks amazing compared to when we got her.
yes it was the blackened charred remains from eBay. (see photos below of restored one)
thank you all for your help and comments, thanks Greg for the new plastics they look a real treat.
grabbed the used ramps on eBay last year.
I know what you mean about never letting her go, top game. and stunning to boot.

Hey, well done.
This title is highly sought after. I love the shape of the Headbox on these system 11,s.
A very colourful game with great artwork. The speakers on these games were very good as well.
The volume around 25 percent is very loud. The volume cranked up past half way can be heard a street away.
Great game. Hang onto it. Finding another one will be near impossible.

Great stuff, thanks for sharing some pics. Terrific game you have there. ^^^

Great work on the resto, it cleaned up well. As previously stated very collectable system 11.
CPR is doing new play fields for this title sometime in the future, thanks for sharing the pics. #*#

Hi All,
Thank you for all the feedback, I must say I had to enlist Chris's (Pinball Medic) help for the power board problems as it was to hard to diagnose and fix while in secret from my Mrs (her birthday pressie)
I'll keep an eye out for the CPR play fields as she's had a tough life especially up near the boogie bonus lights.
thanks again all.
c ya soon
