Thanks again Nino,

I actually clear coated it using polyurethane, I used Cabbots Cabothane and foam brushed it on, very happy with the results of the clear.
I have used it to fill in the inserts on Cleopatra and will be using it this weekend to clear coat it.

Cabothane is an equivalent to the "Varathane" used by some people in the USA and is available from Bunnings.
I used the water based clear as it does not have linseed oil that usually yellows up in time. this stuff is not supposed to go yellow..
I have no windows in my games room so there is no sunlight on my machines whatsoever which should also help with preservation.
