This is a basic bracket allowing people to install their ghost shadow lights on the back of their backbox instead of drilling permanent large diameter holes into the top of the backbox.
You can either screw in the bracket to either side of the back of the backbox or one in the centre and instead of screws you could use double sided tape in the home environment.
There are 2 different brackets:
23mm - This is for the ghost shadow lights that are supplied with a 23mm hole saw, these typically have a red line and locking hex screw and a little longer in the shaft
19mm - This is for the ghost shadow lights that are supplied with a 19mm hole saw, these typically have all black round locking nuts.
check with the ebay suppliers of what hole saw they provide so you can check on the correct bracket to purchase.
Search "swinksGSL" for the different brackets at Shapeways
https://www.shapeways.com/search?q=swinksgsl
The hole size in the bracket for this one is 20mm and the alternative design is 24mm.
Here are some links for various ghost shadow lights - search Ghost Shadow Light on ebay and there are all sorts of options like Mustang, Ford, Chevy, Burning Skulls (No Fear), Batman, X-Men etc. This bracket is a little more expensive as it is longer if both directions and wider.

this is how some people did it but puts some major holes in your cabinet, but the desire effect is the same with less damage

Awesome work mate! Thanks for sharing the info.
Will be looking into this for sure!
-
no worries, thought I would make it a little easier for people to install rather than drilling very large holes
I could do a mod like a search light / beacon that sits on top of the back box for the batman signal.

I would love a pair for Shadow but good luck there I reckon.

you could go for the custom logo option where you provide the artwork - so doable

Yeah that looks very doable Swinks - wonder how complex the art can be - ie. whether they cld do something like the alt translite. I'm going to look into it - really think it's a very cool mod.

Dumb question, only because I haven't done mods like these before and I would like to.
Where and how (for power) would you connect these shadow lights to the pin?
Directly to the On/off switch?
-
I was thinking (hoping) to add to backbox or p/f GI - but will ask on AP before doing (I've found that the best approach by far *%*).
-
I don't have a Stern so unsure but the little ghost shadow lights run off 12 vdc and with the under cabinet lighting kits etc on Sterns there must be an accessible 12vdc location.

Thanks guys. ^^^
