So what will replace the Falcon? Maybe this....

Word is the Mustang is set to replace the Falcon in Australia when Ford stops local production?

Not sure how that works as a Falcon is 4 door and  Mustang 2???

Mustang only replacing and going into the Ford lineup as a muscle sports car. (not replacing falcon at all).

When FPV (Ford Performance Vehicles) a company that was not actually owned by Ford, but the company Tickford sold its Ford enhancing business to with Fords approval went broke, there was a licencing court case that dragged on for the last few years so u have seen the XR8 logo disappear and the GT logo disappear, but replaced with a GS named supercharged 5.0 litre 390 kilowatt car etc etc. The GS goes back to late 70 model cars and stands for Grand Sports.

The mustang was brought in to plug a hole in the Ford performance stable till the FPV case gets settled.
XR8's and GT and GTHO brand names appearing back in late 2014/early 2015.
Replacement Pinball PCBs that remain faithful to the originals

Geez if that beauty replaces the falcon I might become a ford man that's a beast and for the price of the falcon? I hope :-)

facon will be made overseas somewhere from Oct 2016

goodbye holden, goodbye Ford, pls keep Toyota Australia going.......but they say if holden n ford go, all the companies that supply parts to the big three will go broke n some say Toyota cant keep going profitably with the car industry dead that supplies n makes support parts to the car industry.

6 cylinder cars are reputed these days to use too much petrol etc  etc etc. but the ride of a brand new Ford and some new commodores (I hate commodores) is so nice, its worth the extra $$$ to buy a big family car with plenty of grunt. 351 Ford V8 in 1981 had 160 kw. Fords starting with BA six cylinder had 196 klwatt.

People like to buy a 4 cylinder which just sux, or if u buy a performance car, its a turbo or supercharged six or V8....poor old straight six or V6 are just not so popular although they are best bang for ya buck missiles on 4 tyres....shame times have changed to junky imports with lousy 2 litre motors mostly everywhere. Even modern 4 wheel drives come with 2.0 litre motors that couldn't pull the skin off a rice custard.

I love my Ford straight Six late BA Red Wagon. With a few enhancements its very quick.
Wouldn't mind a mustang to go with the Mustang pinny though.lol  *%*

Looks like they have different coloured toy cars in each machine and the second from the left has different colouring in back glass.

There's 3 types maybe that's a premium? I'd like one :-)

I think same translate when u look hard, but just the lighting from the flash. All the outlines look identical on the backglass to the others.

This pin could be bigger than ACDC was. Dam shame we will never really know the real figures unless Ford wants Stern to list the numbers publically.

ie- Stern's Ford Mustang sales hit 10,000. Ford USA also announces great sales numbers for the 2015 Mustang.

"Whether you are playing with your Mustang in the garage, (picture of Stern Mustang Pinny) or whether you are playing with your 2015 Mustang (pictured) on the curves of an open road, Mustang is the car for you". (typical press release stuff etc). Every home deserves a Mustang. Get into your Ford Dealer now".)etc
It woulds be good to see real Stern numbers.

Wonder if Stern USA will have a 2015 Mustang out front of their factory for a while.

Picking up a Mustang pinny and a 2015 Mustang in the same year would be any mans dream come true......

Ominous signs when punters are already looking towards the next title and the current one hasn't even landed yet.

Maybe Mustang will be a sleeper hit?

Now that could be an awesome machine........if done correctly. But I can't see Stern doing it well. Sorry to be pessimistic. But it would be hard theme for any manufacturer.

The Australian release party is in Sydney very soon so it'll be interesting to get some feedback from some Aussie players :-) but it has been a fairly low key release that's for sure like no LE or premium pics.
