PPCR 10TH Anniversary two day event,
day one was a huge success.
On behalf of all ppcr group we would like to thank our major sponsor Joe and Angela from kids just wanna have fun.
Ted pinnipop leagas would like to thank all that made the event possible and kindly donated time and effort and prizes.
PPCR would like to thank liam kirkness from Wangara trophy's donating our grand champion trophy's.
our day started 10am competition brief, then numbers drawn out of a barrel to select starting order of the main comp.
we also ran a raffle,door prizes,we had a swear/tilt box 20 cent donations to the royal flying doctors,the swear box was full by end of day one @@*
10.30am we started GCcomp no practice just straight into the comp.
We also ran a 10 million getaway comp aswell the winner michelle was able to score under as a close to 10million playing 5 balls win a minimum of one flip shot each ball on getaway her 9.8 million was awesome.
we then had lunch ,thanks to jenny leagas and all else that helped for a great feed.
after lunch we played three novelty comps,
we paired up one playing left hand and the other right hand on bally playboy was a lot of fun,
then we used golf system on no fear and who dunnit,trying to achieve a target score in the least amount of ball,welldone taylah paige winner.
once competitions where finished we had presentations.

our raffle ppcr rug handmade by Lana Place was won by Graeme Place, thankyou very much Lana for making such a wonderful ppcr rug.
Day One Competition Winners
GRAND CHAMPION day one- mark lester 1st,andy dolby 2nd,geoff giblett 3rd.
-super spin-magic castle-Jurassic park-grand prix-star trek le-banzai where used in gc day one comp,all scores from six games where added up
and the highest total score was the winner.
LADIES COMP
1st-taylah paige, 2nd michelle simpson, 3rd Jenny Leagas
blue chip bally star trek-meteor were used in ladies comp.
Chris Kennedy then organized some novelty events-
Pinball golf- taylah paige 1st
Flipper left and right- ted leagas & mark lester 1st place
We had a special award presentation which saw the following awards presented-
outstanding pinball collection- Max Learmonth
outstanding restoration- Geoff Giblett
After the presentation closed we assembled for group photographs.
Then, after a period of mingling and excitement sharing, we had a barbeque and open fire.
There are about a dozen members staying the night, and day two will commence ten o'çlock sharp.

I had the best weekend I've had for a long time.
Thank you Leagas family for putting on a great weekend.
The Perth Pinball Collectors and Restorers group is the best bunch of guys and girls I've ever had the pleasure to be associated with.
Thank you to Joe and Angela from Kids Just Want To Have Fun amusement hire for their wonderful support of our group.
It's the first time I've won the Grand Champ and I'm pretty pleased with myself at the moment. :)
I'm also very proud to have my name as the first one on our new perpetual trophy.

We started day two at 10am sharp.
10am comp brief-grand champ day2-getaway 10millions,ladies comp
1030am comps started.
130 lunch thanks jenny leagas and all that helped
230 novelty comps pinball golf, partners left and right only
400 presentations raffles trophies
winner grand champ day 2 andy dolby,2nd mark lester,3rd Graeme place
winner getaway 10millions kevin ace leagas
winner ladies comp taylah paige 2nd nora Gleeson,3rd lana place
we wrapped up with some raffles raised lots of money for royal flying doctor service.
had some final presentations then we thank our hosts ted pinnipop leagas and jenny leagas.
I think pinball is more then just a game and after our two day event and 10 years of PPCR Group
I have made lifelong friends through my love of pinball,
long live pinball,amen

That's the best pinball meet I have ever seen on the forum in 5 years.
P.S - the shed is very cool and the vintage car looks awesome. All the pinball machines featured looked excellent as well. You guys should be proud.

Yeah well, maybe one day I will fatten up like like the rest of PPCR's members and give you all a good "old fashioned" thrashing <.>
Seriously though - what a brilliant weekend in the bush! Let me reiterate all the thanks to the Leagas's, KJWHF and everyone who turned up for making our TENTH Anniversary a mega success.

I know it has been said already but a HUGE thank you to Ted, Jenny, Warren, Taylah and Kevin for a truly awesome weekend in Clackers. Thanks also to Joe and Angela Tripoli from Kids Just Wanna Have Fun for their sponsorship of the weekend and for the ongoing support of the PPCR.
I believe we raised a nice little amount for the RFDS from the raffles and the swear / spit the dummy fines over the two days, but I will let the Clackers crew announce the final figure.

What did we raise? with the daily fee, swear jars, contributions and raffles, it should have been quite a handsome little sum?

We have raised a final total of $797.90.
MAXWIZ and I will present the cheque to the RDFS as soon as we can on behalf of the PPCR.
