Thanks guys for the kind words.
Had to go to the hospital last night at midnight cause of excessive bleading, and get dressings changed and extra pain medication.
Never went to bed, wouldnt have had a chance of sleeping, and it took until 3am to get fixed up, then the 30 min drive home. Never boring is it.  @.@

Hey Cavey,

Hope you're back up to speed soon. There's nothing worse than nursing a wound that's sore, and keeps you from sleeping - turns into a vicious circle after a while. All you want to do is sleep, but cos it hurts you can't sleep ^&^ ^&^

Hope all is well.
Just found this article which shows a screening to detect UV damage. Frightening when you think about it because older generations were never educated on sun protection which came about only in the last 30 years.

I know exactly what your saying mate.
But once under the knife always under the knife.

As a pinball mate maybe give the black salve or what you are ok with a go before you go under the knife again.
It will remove everything cancerous from under the skin also so dont worry about that.
The next thing you need to do is stop drinking coke and any other product that is acidic as this intake causes cancer of any kind to flourish in your body. Sadly that includes alcohol but,,, you can neutralize this.
Not preaching mate,,, as I struggle meself to give up these good things in life.
Anyways, go alkaline in your diet and you will be surprised how your body changes for the better.

No cancer internal or external can grow in an alkaline environment. Cancer can only grow in an acidic environment.
That is a scientific fact, and I did years of research before I solved my own issues.

Regards...  @@*

There is also a theory out there that a mixture of bi-carb of soda and maple syrup is a good preventative. Same sort of thing, it is alkaline and cancer cells can't handle it. The bi carb mixes well with the sweet maplesyrup, cancer cells are ravenous and consume what it thinks is sweet sugary stuff but it is laced with the bi carb and gets into the cancer cells and kills them.

Brett my brother lives on the gold coast. He is a naturopath amongst other things and is an assoc professor at bond uni. His name is Howard Talbot, might be worth a visit and see what if anything he can suggest to stop the skin cancer recurring.

I have added a photo below of my neck/back area. Turns out to be apx 45 stitches. I expected half a dozen til he found a bigger issue (dont look if you are squeamish !) Thats only 1 of the 3 recent ops I have had. I wont include the others, still bleeding etc - yuk.

According to the doctor, nothing stops the growth of cancer cells once they start except some chemo, sometimes etc, and some experimental drugs, sometimes, but alas, cancer is just cancer, and as everyone knows, there is NO cure for cancer although the medical industry has spent billions and billions trying to come up with a cure. I appreciate the home remedy idea etc, but it would be a BIG gamble with your life compared to having the cancer cut out.
I am of the belief that nothing stops melanoma except surgery. Thats the advice of the specialist anyway. Cutting into someone is the only option, and is usually reccommended with urgency, hence my recent ops.

The problem with skin cancer and melanoma, is that is just burrows very deeply very quickly, and what appears to be a small spot on top, can run like a vein or a tree root off to the sides and inwards. It grows rapidly, hence why so many die each year because it is sometimes/half the time undetectable, till its too late. Anyway, hope I dont develop anymore, cause the last few came out of nowhere, even though I havent been in the sun for 20 years so to speak, and have regular checks, but these just appear or come back. Hope its over now and back to playing pinball soon.  ^^^

That's what the doctor's tell you mate because there isn't any money in it for them.  Pretty sure there are plenty of studies going on into the whole alkaline thing.  Do me a favour Brett and just call my brother on the Gold Coast and see what he has got to say.

Its a pity the cut has been made on that angle, if it was rotated you could put an "AC" before it and a "DC" after it  :lol

Blair,
I will definately check out the link and make contact.  ^^^

Beaky/Swinksy,
YES, the shape of the cut is interesting to say the least, but if u saw the during photos, u would see why it ends up looking like that. Apparently a standard Z shape in surgery when they remove a large amount of tissue and have to pull things together where the void/removed stuff was etc.

My wife laughed, said it looked cool and called me the Phantom ?. He must have a lightning bolt on him somewhere (maybe where my doctor got him as well).lol

Maybe I will get a AC and a DC tattoe'd either side of it, with the words Stern and Pro added for laughs.  @.@

That's one hell of a cut you've had. I've spent years playing sport and working in the sun and never had any check ups. I really should.
