Title: Restoration - Stencils
Post by: wicked on January 07, 2009, 12:21:17 PM
Hey All,
Just a quick question in relation to restoring a pinball machine.
What are the stencils like and are they easy to use?
I found a website in the U.S selling the stencils.
They go for about $140 (U.S) + postage. There's also a discount if you buy more than one...

Are they acurate to the original design and what sought of paint do you use?
Also is there a colour chart from the pinball manufacture to get the colours exactly the same...

Cheers for now...

I've heard the KISS ones are particularly hard to use.

Stay tuned for some news on this shortly !

Thanks Dude...
Was justing asking in general..
Not sure if I want to do my Kiss machine yet anyway... I like the standard wear and tear...
I may just paint and repair around the head board...
I was thinking of buying a another pinball and restore it... Not sure what type yet...
I want to know more about restoring them before I go in too deep...

I've seen some restored Kiss ones and they look very fiddly...

Thanks...
