Atari Superman
« on: June 16, 2011, 12:29:00 PM »
Hi all,

worth a try......

Thought i'd put out the call for anyone about to offload an "Atari Superman" machine.

Can be working, stuffed or a 1/2 finished project....
I'll accept ANY condition (at decent Price) as i don't mind spending a year or so cleaning it up and sourcing parts etc....

anyone??
Marty.

Well decent price it aint... and what seems to be common with this title... bumper wear.
But still a good looking machine that needs work.

Asking $2000.... but once fixed.... $6000!!!!x %.% %.% %.% %.%

At $2K, my money's on owner and machine being familiar for a bit longer yet

Farout!! $2k??? Hmmmph...

I'd be (desperate) tempted to offer $2k INCLUDING courier syd-melb...but $2k alone for it's condition is a bit rich....

Thanx for the headsup guys, nice work ;-)

*IF* i decide to do something foolish and buy it, is anyone in around Sydney that would pickup for me?, just in case the seller doesn't wanna hang around for Courier etc????
Then i can work on a courier from your place to mine...

MM.
(waiting for a superman to popup for $500 heheheeh).

Every chance it will come up for sale again Marty.  Big $$$$$ for that particular machine though considering the playfield wear and faded backglass.  There was also a machine that was sold down Wollongong way about 12 months ago that looked very similar to this machine - wonder if it is doing the rounds????

I think there is a Superman backglass for sale in the US on Mr Pinball Classifieds.  Don't know how much and it would be a PITA to get it delivered but.......
