Hi All,
new to the site and loking for some help. I am about to hit the dreaded 40 (no help avail), i have decided to revisit my youth and want to by my first pinball as a b'day present to myself, not sure if the wife knows yet !!
I am looking in particular for a couple of machines i loved to play - Kiss, Playboy and Royal Flush. Does anyone have these available for sale? What would i expect to pay for any of these that were in "good" condition?
-
%)% Billy good to hear your going to get yourself something Nice for your 40th prices on the machines you mentioned can vary a lot a good Kiss or Playboy between $3000 to $5000 maybe even higher not sure on royal flush though.
Good luck with the search.

Whereabouts are you located Billy2708?
The titles you're chasing (Kiss and Playboy) are available from time to time, but command a fair price.
For a restored and working Kiss I would expect to pay $4000+
For a restored and working Playboy (without playfield wear) I would expect to pay $3000+
Eitherway I would give Mark a call (Child Amusements in Melb) he seems to be able to source these pins and did have both in his showroom not that long ago..
Good luck with the search!

%)% Billy !
Bally Playboy and KISS are at the high end of the market and price is driven by condition.
KISS will be anywhere between $3500 - $7500 tops.
Playboy will be anywhere between $2200 - $5800 tops
Royal Flush will be anywhere between $800 - $1700 tops
Best of luck with your search.

Welcome to AP Billy....life starts at 40 (yeah right)....lol
There was a Royal Flush on ePAY during the week...you might have better luck finding a Card Whiz (the 2 player version) as there seems to be more of them kicking about.

Welcome the forum. Rather impressive wishlist there, hope the wife lets you spend that much for your 40th!

Welcome to Aussie pinball, Hope you have a great 40th and get one of the machines on your list. But remember pinball's get lonely on there own so you will have to get another to keep it company.

Hi Billy, another addict in the making.
-
hi all,
thanks for your help, will keep looking around. Anyone got ideas or recommendations on best places to look to buy?
-
MarkC, EBAy or Grays auctions, even garage sales.
Advertise on Aussie Pinball and you can get some interest. Location is critical as it adds heaps to the cost and complications.
Playboy was my first restore and I thoroughly enjoy playing it. It also looks a million bucks with all the colours and crome!
Have seen a few Kiss machines lately on EBAy!
Cheers and welcome aboard!

does anyone have any thoughts or problems with imports? I have found a couple of dealers in the US, shipping is quite reasonable at about $350.
The price on the machines seems quite cheap considering what i have seen them sell for on ebay.
Is there any implications / issues with US machines? Does anyone now what sales taxes or duties may apply?

Most of our machines are re-imports. The majority of my machines have come from Germany which is good. Rollerball has just recently imported one himself from Germany too.
You do need to pay customs and GST when it lands....
