Williams Black Knight coil buzzing.
« on: August 23, 2018, 11:25:54 AM »
I did a rebuild of my BK lower flippers, new linkidge, coil sleeve, spring.
Dident change the end of stroke switches as they looked ok.
And I had changed them a couple of years ago but the game has had not a lot of play in that time.
The coil stops where ok to.
There is no binding all moves freely.
After adjusting the end of stroke, the flippers work as they should but now I have a slight buzz and when the flipper is energized and the ball hits them it bounces the ball when it hits the bat.
Have worked on flippers many times and even thoe I did everything right I have this problem.
Any thoughts ?

Tighten the screws that hold the EOS. Clean the EOS. Adjust the gap in the EOS and see if it makes any difference.

It sounds possibly like the low power hold is not working well. The EOS clean etc Nino suggests is a good start.
