Title: Flexstone - how many do I need
Post by: JRK1971 on April 15, 2011, 01:29:17 PM
Hi guys,
About to buy some more parts from PBResource and thought I'd get a Flexstone to replace my crude sandpaper method for cleaning contacts. I want to use the Flexstone for cleaning contacts on the Score wheel of my EM's, and contacts on the SS machines.

Having never seen or used one of these, my question is - do they wear out, and how many should I buy? Are they like the wife's sandpaper based nail files !@#

This is the part

They do wear out and you have to discard them eventually. I usually buy 5-10 flexstone files per order and keep plenty spare !

If you are doing ALL contacts on a 4 player EM, you would go through 1 or 2 files.

Thanks, I'll order 10 then.
