It certainly has a lot to do on it... but time will tell if it is a hit or not.

I do like the Skull being used for multiball... should be a nice effect.

Played it today, the only stern that I have enjoyed and wanted to keep playing since striker xtreme. Very nice layout, some challenging shots.

I would just be repeating what greg has said. I couldnt compare the playfield layout to another pin,it appears to be quite unique. The playfield is also quite busy with an arrayment of different things to shoot for. The ramps do not obstruct the players  view, the skull lock is quite cool. The centrifuge( the spinning ball capture) is cool but seems to slow down play alot. The ball save post is present but a little far back to assist in drains.
Its good enough to want me to go and play again and I would encourage others to give it a bash.

and l agree
this pf layout is very Lawlor like but at the same time its quite different to his older Bally/Wms games
even his older sterns where akin to his  WMS layouts  but Like RBION and Nascar  this is something different again  this pf is packed with things to do and things to achieve  yet like Nascar it has a lot of open areas (so you do get speed thru the orbits) but you get the normal dedicated areas that you have to work to achieve maximum scores  the third upper flipper like Tz is out in the pf but unlike TZ you can use that flipper for more than hitting the ball

I don't know about you Dave but the Translight sucked big time IMO
and some of the speech  was horrid at best  but l found it a fun game

really cool art package on the pf and cab.
Over all 8.5 - 9 out of 10  shits allover POTC and WPT WOF and (IMO) LOTR  (but l do like Spiderman and TSPP more)

Software not finished, Skull lock isnt working like it should.

That wasnt your fingerprint I saw on the ball plunger was it Greg? Another nice touch. The backglass didnt bother me as I was too busy playing, but I generally dont like those actor/cast member backglasses anyway.
