Well first day spent on my monaro didn't go aswell as planned got the monaro into the work shed to find that the shed I was stored in didn't cope so well with the down poor a few weeks ago.    So back to bare metal it went for the third time now.   Oh well better to be safe than sorry.

Now have the car in it's first coat of primer and ready to be pulled apart again for final prep.  No photos sadly as there is no Internet here so it i phone only.

Will post pics when I get back.

Hoping to get at least the doors and guards ready for paint tomorrow then the body the next day.    Have to pick up the bonnet and boot lid aswell.   Let's hope there As good as the guy says Hq  stuff isn't as easy to get as it used to be.   I had a dead straight and inmean dead straight  bonnet sitting in bare metal a few years back I chucked it onto my one timber after a slight bingle to get it back in the road what a f wit

Well day three done day two was written off with family stuff.

So far have 80% of the body is done have one door one guard and the nose cone ready to spray the inside yellow and refit to the car ready for final proof coat and block back ready for final paint.  The other panels have all panel beating done and are almost ready for final block aswell.

So it's getting closer lets hope I have as much success tomorrow and should have the car back together either in top coat or atleast ready for a warm enough day to spray.

Sorry still no photos till I get back to the big smoke

I'm looking forward to seeing it in the flesh!

body is straight off the gun and still needs to be blocked back clear coated then buffed thids will all be done once all the panels are painted and hung.

Lol !

Looking great so far Daniel . Women (most anyway) just can't appreciate how much time and effort goes into a project like this.
I need more room ! and more $$$

Some more progress today last time i was working on the monaro id stripped the door to bare metal ages ago and coated it with primer so a light sand and a fresh coat of primer BAM  bloody thing blistered and turned to shit so back to bare metal again which in a way is good i got photos in bare metal.

Also got the inside of the boot lid sprayed and the inside of a gaurd so next trip i can flip them over and get the outsied prepped an hopefully sprayed.   How good is it going to be bolting my freshly painted panels back on i cant wait.

Sorry for the lack of progress and updates been having family issues and had lost interest in everything hopefully this is the start of getting back to normal.

Spent some time working on the out side of some panels got the boot lid prepped and sprayed not 100% happy but the few tiny marks should block out before the clear goes on.
