1978 united Pompeii shuffle alley (yes I'm a dead man)
« on: January 30, 2013, 12:28:50 AM »
Hey guys in a little but excited tomorrow I go to collect my 1978 United Pompeii shuffle alley machine for my collection.

I've always wanted one of these but never seen one for sale so a massive massive thankyou to Dave (Silverball) for thinking of me and my unusual collection.

Ill post some photos tomorrow once it's in my possession

Yes Nick it is but instead of a ball it uses a puck.

It's about 9foot long and has 6 players won't know more till I pick it up tonight

Well I made it home with the game in one piece well kind of 4 pieces lol.

I won't be putting this one back together for another couple of weeks yet but ill post pictures of it in pieces

The guy I bought it of bought it 15years ago in New York.   Moved it all over America then to Australia and the whole time it's never worked....  He didnt even know it had batteries till I told him lol.

Really nice bloke wish i had some more time to stay and chat but with two hours drive I had to go.

Game came with a set of new pins new rubber and even a can of shuffle wax for the lanes but the best part is the original manual  &&  Stay tuned for some photos

Worst part is the power wiring runs the ength of the alley so im unable to plug it in until its bolted back together so i guess ill just have to be patient
