Title: Updated web site with accessories page
Post by: oldpins on December 19, 2010, 04:38:55 PM
Hi All,
I have been a member for some time, and had a hobby website which I played around with periodically. After purchasing new web design software around 2 months ago I have been learning how to use it between EM restores. After finishing a Gottlieb 'Pro Football' and putting back on it's legs this week and playing a few games, I found that the ball wants to park itself in a couple of the PF inserts which sit too low.The problem is that shaking the machine to free up the ball causes a tilt everytime. (The playfield was cleaned and mylared before I purchased the machine, so I was unable to correct the inserts which did not seem to be too bad at the time)
My solution to the problem are layers of machine cut mylar discs, which I have trialled and work extremely well. These will be helpful for many older machines and can be made up to suit all PF inserts which have sunk over time. I am in the process of making some over the holiday break and adding more content to the site. Here is the page link http://www.oldpinballs.com/accessories.html (http://www.oldpinballs.com/accessories.html) Any feedback would be good.

Nice site well done-I've done a similer thing on ramp flats if they sit abit high off the PF I just wack a strip of mylar on and the ball rolls up the ramp flap nice a smooth and avoids any ball damage and inturn a perfect ball doesn't damage a nice PF and you can't even notice the mylar.

Mine are that sunken - I lose sight of the ball when it drops in...  !@)
