Thanks to the support and encouragement of the Australian pinball community we’ve just posted EPISODE #2 of the PINHEADZ PODcast!
The overwhelming message from the forum posts & Facebook messages of the last month was to hear Australian pinball stories from Aussie Pinheadz.
So this episode we have interviews with prolific Sydney pinball operator Luke Phillips from LA GAMES, Inverloch collector Geoff Fraser – frastrac.com.au & a really cool profile piece on Australian Pinball Restoration’s Nino Zanbello!
In addition, we also take a look at a rare month that’s featured two new titles announced as well as the usual pin banter between Steve, Gaz & myself.
If you have iTUNES you’ll find Ep.2 there, alternatively you can stream or download it via STITCHER…just click on the appropriate links below in my signature.
Hope you get a chance to take a listen.
Cheers
Rod

Rod is a breakfast radio announcer on Mix 106.3 in Canberra. I can't recall where he was before coming to Canberra though !@# - I'm sure you did tell me though Rod !@)

Thanks Marty, yeah Andy's spot on - I've covered some K's over the years from Melbourne to Dubbo to Townsville to Perth to the Central Coast to Adelaide & now Canberra (and a few other spots along the way). It was a fantastic adventure as a younger bloke...but probably the worst thing to collect when you move states every couple of years are pinball machines. Happy to stand still for a bit.
BTW, you can see a PIC of Andy and I with his VERY COOL collection on the PINHEADZ PINBALL PODCAST Facebook page. Loved that DE TOMMY Andy ^^^

Haha poor Mike. Geez, I'm tempted to buy you some kind of MP3 player and load it up with these great podcasts.
So you can't download the mp3, get a free player (VLC for Windows?) and then open it from there? Or someone put the mp3 file in a Dropbox?
Cheers!
Adam.

playing it won't be an issue - it's actually being able to download it

Hey Mike,
Here are the two links to the PODcasts:
EP1: http://www.pinheadz.com.au/podcast/ppp001-welcome-to-the-first-episode-of-the-pinheadz-pinball-podcast/
EP2: http://www.pinheadz.com.au/podcast/ppp002-pinheadz-pinball-podcast-ep2-the-mustang-vs-the-dude/
To download:
1. Click on the link, and the Pinheadz Pinball PODcast web page should open, then scroll down to where you see a small media bar with 'Play in new window', 'Download', and 'Embed' underneath.
2. Click on 'Download' - this will open a new window with a media bar in the centre, and it will by default commence playing the PODcast - check your volume!!!.
3. Hit pause, and 'Right-click' anywhere in the window, and select 'Save As...'
4. A 'Save As' window should open with the file-name "PPP001.mp3", or 'PPP002.mp3' already populated.
5. Save the file where you want it, and then use any media player to play it.
6. Sit back, relax, and enjoy!!
Cheers,
Andy
