Yeah i spoke to tim, but still worried about overcapatilising it with a full playfield resto, i might speak to Mitch about it next time he's here as the playfeild art is fine, there's no wear, just sunken inserts that affect the ball.

Have the inserts simply "sunk" into the timber ? Or are they concaved ? Nearly every Flash I've seen has sunken inserts, and you can fix this by removing the insert, and then re-gluing them into the playfield. You then use a sharpie to draw in the insert borders and you are done.
