Take over 100 machines...
« on: March 14, 2014, 02:26:00 PM »
Take over 100 machines on free play... make them available for 3 days.. add camping and accommodation..

What do you have?

PIN A GO GO!!!!

..Yep, its PIN A GOGO time again... Play some pinball.. add a swap meet.. meet Steve Ritchie.. meet fellow pin enthusiasts.. what more could you want?
Why are these shows in US so great? Why are they so popular??.. well they aren't restricted.. anyone can go.. theres no pay a shitload of $$'s just to have an exclusive lock in which isn't exclusive in its invitation.. ha ha ha!

http://pinagogo.org/

Pinball.. how it should be done.. fun.. friendly and relaxed..

Oh and according to my mate Dan... this is what the room service is like..

Yep, Yanks know how to put on a great event, been to some well run car shows there,

PIN A GO GO would be a fantastic opportunity to go, not far from San fran either  ()

Local exop here is looking to be a big event also 250 pins & reasonable entry price for walk ups to  !^!

Very 50s room service with 60s art means there could be a discovery of fun there.
If you don't remember the 70s then you were on drugs.
If you remember playing pinball in the 70s you were having a good time.
If you don't remember anything,  then read about it here,

Aah yes - that one. Hasn't been advertised on this forum.. this is the $150 lock in ticket available only to a certain forum so only people from that forum can attend? . But if  all 350 tickets not sold then the scum public MAY be allowed to join in? Its not a business.. its a hobby..LOL.. Potential $45000 to be made from a lock in and its not a business?

Like I said.. US style.. fun.. popular.. not restricted...

who put the AA in animosity??

 %.% %.% %.% %.%

Ok.. back on track to the reply.. I wont be attending, right from the start, it lacks any good vibe

The yanks know how to do this properly. No politics, and inclusive to everyone. Not just a little boy's club depending on who you know etc etc..

Another upcoming event worth mentioning is this US based fundraiser for Python Anghelo being put on by a California pin collector.

http://www.iepinball.com/python/

Over 100 machines including some very rare titles -

Loch Ness Monster (1 only made)
Capcom Kingpin
Original Capcom Big Bang Bar
King Kong
Kelly Packards Golden Cue
Krull

and Gene Cunningham's recently acquired functional prototype Wizard Blocks and Playboy Pin2000 machines.
