Title: One for the rev heads
Post by: Retropin on December 04, 2013, 09:50:56 PM
Every now and again my work takes me to some cool places.. today was one of those occasions... I had to install some neon and signage in a "private" shed. For some reason I seem to get a job like this just before each xmas. Well I walked in today and was blown away. Not only by the size of this private shed but also what was contained inside. I was allowed to take some pics so long as I swore id never reveal the location.. well here it is, site unknown.

One of 3 E type Jags in the building..

You're not fooling anybody. That's just a diorama of a model builder's collection.
... oh wait... that would be killer even for that.

OK.
As you were. ^^^

I'm no car enthusiast, but that setup is amazing. I would expect to see this arrangement in the USA (except for the Aussie cars).

Your NEON work looks awesome, Gav  ()

Exactly what i thought when i saw this thread  *%* *%*

The phrase 'only in America' immediately came to mind.. except that this is not in America  :D :D
Its like seeing episodes of 'American Pickers' when they walk into some of those awesome sheds over there!

Gee.. well spotted! It has and when I was up the scaffold tower I was staring at the little man at the back of the plane with the machine gun and I kept thinking that its probably something that just wouldnt happen anymore.. being a machine gunner must have been a bloody terrible job. Nowadays you'd never get the Safe Work method Statement signed off and if you did, the flouro orange shirt would be a dead give away!

The guy that owns this private collection owned the FORD dealership .. when Bryan Byrt died the whole business was handed over to his right hand man.. J. Harris.
Hence all the Fords and all the HARRIS RACING cars
