Thanks Nino, received my new legs one working day after your dispatch email. Even the postie asked "bloody hell, what's so heavy in this tube?"
Still can't believe, you spend you're time packing, labeling and shipping at such a low cost. You're a champ  @@*
Dam!!!! Just wish I had some more 70's Gottlieb's, as these legs are hard to find.
Bugger it. I'm going to order one more set before you run out, or eBay them.  ^^^

No problem Paul. A few members have made similar comments regarding the weight of the tube. I wanted to give collectors a cost effective opportunity to either replace their rusted old legs, or install the correct legs for their games without breaking the bank !

Once the legs have run out of stock, we will be ordering more.

My machine is Cactus Jack's (System 3) - part number for legs is 26684. Do you have anything to suit?

The manual should state the leg size. either 27 1/2 or 31 inch. I have both sizes which are suitable for most games of this era. I recall my Street Fighter had ribbed legs, but the flyer has non ribbed. So they may have changed them over the years. Best thing to do is measure yours and report back !

At a guess I'd say they are 27 1/2 inch.

Yes, I can measure, but how do I know it has the right legs on it to start with?

In the manual all it says is the part number!

If you go to the Pinball Resource web site, click on cabinets and then legs it explains what was used on Gottlieb Pins, they were either type b or on system 3. This is what Nino is selling

Still lost on this one - Pinball Resource says check manual for 1990+ machines!

This is where the issue is confusing. System 3 games have 27 inch legs with ribbing. The ribbing is not the length of the leg like Bally/Williams, but shorter like SYS9/11. The only way to check is via the flyers on IPDB. For this title, they are no help. But look at Stargate or Street Fighter II and you will see what I mean. I don't think anyone supplies these original SYS3 legs.

Your lest bet is the standard 27 inch legs.

OK, I'll check if the current legs have the ribbing and take it from there.

Just to add to the confusion, in mid 1993, Gottlieb changed from a 27 inch leg to a 31 inch leg starting with Wipeout.

This can be witnessed by the location of higher leg bolt holes on the Wipeout, as opposed to the lower leg bolt holes on the Teed Off (which was the last Sys 3 game to use 27's.

Any game Gottlieb sys 3 after Teed Off with 27's looks and feels ridiculously low. I've put a set of 31's on a SF2 and was way too high, so it has to be set up with the correct sized legs.

Did I secure the last set of 27's Nino? Glad your getting more in next year  ^^^
