Title: My gamesroom
Post by: Creech on September 06, 2008, 09:45:07 AM
Thought I might share some pics of my gamesroom as it looked last year when I had all my pins. It's currently pinless  ??? but that's about to change  ;D

You gonna fill it back up with similar titles? or take a new direction with some different stuff?

Going back to the older stuff. Early Williams/Bally/Gottlieb SS and EM's. That's what I grew up with and what I feel most happy with.

Seems like quite a few collectors are going this way, must admit I have always been more prone to the later stuff till last week when I had a few games on Nitro Groundshaker and Meteor. Love Meteor, absolutely got me in. So many cool shots with no ramp or m/ball in sight. Would love to get one of these, just can't get it out of my head now.

I hear you. I was strictly a 90's pin man but am now apprecitiating all pins from any era.

I have the prequel to Meteor lined up - Galaxy. It needs a fair bit of work done to it but it will come up looking A1 when done. Backglass and playfield are very nice from all reports.

I enjoy playing DMDs and appreciate the level of design and planning that goes into each game. But I find that I cannot digress from my roots. The older titles have more of a history, and remind me of the golden age..

Take any late 70's SS machine with flipper rebuilds etc and it is almost as fast as any good DMD.

Just checked it out on IPD, looks good, interesting pop bumper placement. Have you played it before?

Galaxy is a VERY underrated game because it does not have the Bally logo on it. I've owned two Galaxy machines and they are faster than the Ballys of the same era. Meteor is a super fast game. Awesome pins..

Never but can't wait. I love the sci-fi themes.
