I have never crimped before, getting the hang of it now
been using magnifying glasses, but I seem to be getting a headache
just trying to see if there is a better way

you will get the hang of it after a couple hundred.lol.then you will be able to do them with your eyes closed dreaming of hot crossed buns.

Hi Pete
When crimping at the machine, I always have a nice bright cree headlamp (from Jaycar).
Also I buy pairs of 3.5 or 4+ reading glasses from the $2 shop for magnification.
Very useful, unless of course you already have 4- eyes. @.@
Also if you're going to do a lot of crimping, I highly recommend a ratcheting crimper.

Pretty expensive at over $US100.00, but perfect crimps every time and in one motion for both inner/outer crimp.
Edit
Just noticed Ed is out of stock of 0.156” and 0.100" at present.
Did I forget to mention you a different crimper for each size with these? #@#
I have a 0.156 and a cheaper tool for everything else.

I don't have an issue with seeing what I'm crimping just the motivation to actually do it so your one step ahead of me Pete

when all the crimps are done the hot cross buns will be done to perfection.i would crimp all day and plan the evening meal in my head.
