With most of us using led's & so many different brands/types/colours etc etc, would be good to compare globes & led's on some sort of test bench, Any of you Guro's knock one up, test them for many reasons before fitting them in there places, some spots are a pain to get to blah blah. !@#

I made one up its very basic. Ill take a photo if I ever make it home

traffic bad tonight mate? My wife took over 2 hours to get from box hill
-
Yep 3 hours from south Melbourne to Geelong grrrrr.
I'm stuffed send me a reminder tomorrow night and ill duck out and take a photo.
What I've done is got a 4xaa battery pack from jaycar and in the handle of a plastic tub mounted a 44, 555 & 89 globe socket and wired them all to the battery pack. The tub has three compartments I keep one with 44s one with 555s and flashers in the other one. Grab a globe sit it in the socket if it works it goes into the game.
It's amazing how many new globes are stuffed from the packet and nothing worse than finishing a game to find a dud globe under a ramp etc
-
you got me thinking now ^^^
-
yep get one of each socket from 'your preferred supplier' and make one
-
Have a look here for something I made a little while ago.
