was skidmarks one of the first linkable (LAN,modem) games,can kinda remember playing a racing game over the modem on my amiga 600 with one of my mates that had a amiga1000 if it's the same game it was a hell of a lot of fun.

there have been some great games mentioned which i totally forgotten about.
Another Amiga game i remember is Lotus 1,2 &3
also Moon Stone.

i remember them well.sort of,ARBI,(alcohol related brain injury.)i cut my teeth on a system 80 (cheeper trs-80)lost all interest in computers until c 64.bloody brilliant to play,nightmare to program with all those symbols.shit look what we got now...........

Ah, it was VZ200 for me - Defence Penetrator was my favourite.

Favourite Amiga game I saw was Ghostbusters. Had a few friends with C64s but I can't remember whether I had a favourite game.

Amigo 500 was my next machine, and five games were absolutely brilliant;

1. Ports Of Call
2. Carrier Command
3. Syndicate
4. Dune2
5. Lemmings


+1 for Dune2 and syndicate. I remember playing Dune on PC and my mate got to the very end before me where you fire the big nuclear missile and him telling me after hours of fighting, night after night, he finally gets to fire this missile and he watches the thing flying across the screen and just before impact his monitor blows up.  @@* That's one mean mutha of a game I reckon.

Spent many many hours playing Dune 2, now look how many games have copied the style
