Knew it didn't look right.

I can buy these for $15 from a vendor at the local market with any image you want.   :lol

Or you can make one in about 5 steps in Photoshop CS4 and up and then buy a lenticular sheet to stick over the top (to get that 3D effect) for a few bucks.

Must be one hell of a licence fee. Thanks Gene.

And Gomez believes that due to his changing role within Stern, he probably won't be designing another game for a while  $#$

Great to hear Stern will be producing the Juicy Melons title. Hopefully that won't be their only originally themed title and can think up something amongst themselves.

Got a feeling its the long awaited non licenced title that STERN rumour mongers have been hinting on.

I also have the feeling that the word THE is the keyword in the statement

I am not as confident that Stern will be producing this game as a usual BIG title launch. Maybe Juicy Melons might be done on a licence/fee per machine deal with Stern producing a few hundred or something if the designers pony up the majority of the money.

Can anyone see this title being a big seller except maybe a 100 or 200 if lucky ? would it sell much outside of the USA ??
Behind every garage door could be a pinball collectors

I started a poll on pinside a while ago asking what people thought if this went into production, with only 20-30% wanting it, and rest saying they didn't like the layout, or wouldn't be welcomed by their wives / kids or not into a EM / basic SS style with very basic rules. We all know Dennis loves his boobs but it will be interesting to see if sales take off...... and if it is modernised with a SS to DMD system with rules and call outs ????

here are Georges other games -

Attack from Mars
Batman
Corvette
Johnny Mnemonic
Monster Bash
NBA Fastbreak
Playboy®
Revenge From Mars
The Avengers (Limited Edition)
The Avengers (Pro)
The Avengers Hulk (Limited Edition)
The Lord of the Rings
The Lord of the Rings (Limited Edition)
The Sopranos®
Transformers™ (Pro)
Transformers™ Autobot Crimson Limited Edition
Transformers™ Decepticon Violet Limited Edition
Transformers™ Limited Edition ("Combo")

I might add, Johhny M is a masterpiece of a game that is under-rated but this JM title is an absolute brilliant game. From a mechanical interaction and mechanical point of view, I reckon it was many years ahead of its time.

He did say at Texas his design days may be over, but i hope he does design more games.

I like and respect his designs, however I have felt the last Gomez playfield was indicative of his evolving position within the company and lacked polish and quality of previous times. Coupled with input from others, it didn't feel like a true Gomez start to finish design IMO. He is in more of a managerial role now and conflicts of interest is not what we need when new pinball is involved. Be a designer or General Manager but not both. Borg and Ritchie designs are the titles to look forward to at present.

[/quote]valid points, good to see its not based on 'I don't like the guy' etc. I haven't played anything of his since rfm, mnsterbash and found these simple but fun.

Awesome, if you close your eyes and listen you would swear that you were back in the 80's with a mixture of crowd noise, chimes, credit knockers and bleeps and blops from early SS
If it isn't broke, it isn't pinball.
