Great pictures, Daniel..
Looks better than I thought :D

Playfield is a strange one it has big cracks in the clear coat and from the looks the artwork is printed on to material then covered with the clear resin???? Has anyone heard or sen anythin similar. Also the enire cabinet is covered in the clear resin aswell it polishes up that well you can see your reflection in it.
-
Sorry forgat to attach the pic
-
The clear over the artwork is common for French pins - RALLY did the same.
Its more like the print is attached to the underside of a sheet of resin. Beauty of this method is that the artwork is nearly always intact!
And as youve found out - polishes up a dream.......LOL - you might have to install some pitted balls to slow the game down

Hi to all those who were spewing they missed out on Riviera i have something you will like to hear

While i had the old girl open i noticed something strange the fuse for the lights had blown. Why is this strange you ask? Because the scoreboard was still lit up. When i replaced the fuse the scoreboard went out and the playfield lit up dull untill the fuse blew again and the scoreboard came back on. During all this none of the relays inside the machine moved so why is it changing from the scoreboard to playfield? Any one with any ideas?
-
I am guessing you have a short somewhere, or else your earth is inadequate.
Have you fixed the coin door problem? If so, what was it?
-
I agree - sounds like a bad earth - probably off the transformer.
-
The door problem was a loose wire jamming in between the door and the frame had worn throught the plastic. And ill try resoldering all the wires onto the transformer and see how that goes
Thanks Guys

Why is it that you can play a pinball without the glass for days and the ball never gets stuck but as soon as you put the glass on it gets stuck grrrr ill take a photo of it tomorrow as its stuck real good lol
