Pinball Magazine shipping out extra batch of Issue 1
« on: January 06, 2013, 06:12:27 PM »
Due to popular demand Pinball Magazine is shipping out an extra batch of Issue No.1 on January 8th. If you haven't ordered your copy yet, this is your chance to be in this batch.

For those wondering about Issue 2: we're working on Issue 2 and 3 simultaneously. This month a lot of interviews for both issues will take place

Cheers I've ordered a copy.

How regularly do you anticipate the magazine coming out?

I also would love to see "repair" sections in it too. I read your FAQ section about the difficulties with this. Personally if i were you I wouldn't care if some people  get pissy with the method shown coz they use a different one.  Tell them to start their own mag and put it in that. As a buyer of the magazine I would rather read about one potential repair method than none!

Thanks for your order. The plan is to do two to three issues a year. Doing the interviews is very time consuming as the main interview usually is spread over several interview sessions. Depending on the agenda of the person(s) interviewed there may be some time in between such sessions.

I will keep your comment on repair sections in mind. I may actually do something with this in a different way. In February there will probably be some news on that.

Thanks,

Jonathan

I have just finished reading my copy.

What an excellent publication ^^^
Well written, in depth interviews, glossy format & loads of hi-res pics.
Also enjoyed the segment on "specialist collectors"
I wish Jonathan every success with this magazine and long may it continue.

I will most certainly announce when Issue 2 can be pre-ordered via the Pinball Magazine Newsletter, facebook and various pinball forums. The only 'difficulty' is that I can't put it on pre-order until I know how many pages the magazine will have. That partly determines the pricetag. However, I do plan to inform potential advertisers soon about the possibilities of advertising in Issue 2. At that time I will be close to going to print, so I probably can reveal more about the content of Issue 2 too. From what it looks now all I can say is: it will have more articles / interviews on various topics and is likely to have even more pages than Issue 1.

Thanks!

I have had several board sales to Italy and France and I am reasonably certain they are directly from my ad in issue one ?

I'll add you to the advertisers mailinglist, so you'll be informed when I will be taking ads for Issue 2.

Very nice :)

As for the shipment of Batch 8: these issues will be shipped Monday February 11th. Any orders coming in this weekend will still be added and will ship monday.

Thanks!

Thanks Jonathon.

Magazine arrived today... just waiting for it to dry out a tad as the postie left it outside even though weve had torrential rain for 3 days now.

Cheers!!   ^^^ ^^^
